Merge table
Seems to be multiple tables of Gramps version related information with slightly different columns, would anybody be opposed to me merging a few table to make it simpler to maintain?
Too much information in table makes content difficult for readers to assimilate.
But maybe we should look for way a master table could drive subsets of data?

Real question is apart from the original start date of Gramps and do we really need a table on this page that only differs from Previous_releases_of_Gramps with the Schema table column that appears on the following pages table anyway?? Gioto (talk) 03:02, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
Yes, aside from the added context of date, the XML Schema makes the 1st table superfluous. (It is also a bit too 'technical' for a good history page.)
The comparative Navigator bars is nice. It has a nostalgic feel that fits a 'History' page. But the main page comparison is a bit too much.
Copying Don's blog is both good and bad. Unless we get someone to do something similar for the missing 2006-2024 timeline, it would just make the page seem incomplete... and undermine confidence if we cannot document an orderly turnover of of project officers.
