Yes, aside from the added context of date, the XML Schema makes the 1st table superfluous. (It is also a bit too 'technical' for a good history page.)

The comparative Navigator bars is nice. It has a nostalgic feel that fits a 'History' page. But the main page comparison is a bit too much.

Copying Don's blog is both good and bad. Unless we get someone to do something similar for the missing 2006-2024 timeline, it would just make the page seem incomplete... and undermine confidence if we cannot document an orderly turnover of of project officers.

Merge table

Seems to be multiple tables of Gramps version related information with slightly different columns, would anybody be opposed to me merging a few table to make it simpler to maintain?


Too much information in table makes content difficult for readers to assimilate.

But maybe we should look for way a master table could drive subsets of data?
