Functionality
What functionality would our users like to see?
- Auto-import basic information: If a user has already linked their FamilySearch ID, it would be incredibly helpful to automatically import their core information at the start of their initial research. This would save countless hours and prevent users from having to rebuild everything from scratch. (Jeff - jj0192)
- Duplicate detection and merging: Adding a feature that can identify and merge duplicate FSIDs would streamline the workflow and prevent confusion caused by repeated records. (Jeff - jj0192)

- 3377 Connect and synchronize Gramps with the FamilySearch API.
Existing addons
- Jean Michault's PersonFS is a gramplet to interface Gramps with familysearch.com. https://github.com/jmichault/PersonFS
- gramps plugin for syncing with FamilySearch. Uses API keys from Jean Michault's project, and code is rebuilt with added features. Should clear cache with the clear cache button in the gramplet before closing down Gramps, may face issues with children not showing up in the compare window if you do not clear the cache. https://github.com/SourceAirbender/FSG_Sync
