Linux Genealogy Desktop CD 4.0 wydane zostało 26 czerwca 2008.
Ten Live CD bazuje na wydaniu Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) dla stacji roboczych i zawiera poza standardowymi pakietami z dystrybucji Hardy, przeinstalowane wersje aplikacji: GRAMPS 3.0.1, GeneWeb, oraz LifeLines jak również program GraphViz do kreślenia pięknych grafów w GRAMPS. Płyta CD dostępna jest jedynie dla architektury x86.
Poza sesją Live, ten dysk pozwala także na zainstalowanie Linuxa na dysku twardym swojego komputera, Ta metoda pozwoli Ci na osiągnięcie odpowiedniej prędkości i jakości pracy. Jeśli chcesz wiedzieć więcej, odwiedź stronę Ubuntu.
